Art Jam classes are taught by Kelly & Tony Rozwadowski and offered through Culpeper County Parks & Recreation Department.
We love getting to know our students and tailor our classes to their interests and abilities. To keep things interesting and challenging, the projects change every session. All supplies are included.
Art Jam: Modern Art History Academy
Art Jam is going virtual! Art Jam Academy classes are designed to help homeschooling families enjoy flexible, informative art projects. We’ll bring art history alive by getting to know artists like Vincent Van Gogh, Paul Klee, Carmen Herrera, and Kehinde Wiley. After studying their techniques and styles, we’ll create our own masterpieces using the elements of art (line, shape, color, value, texture, and form).
For this virtual class, we’ve prepared a project pack that will contain all of the supplies in envelopes numbered for each week. Once you register, we’ll contact you to coordinate pick up or delivery of the project pack kit. Class will meet weekly via Zoom to introduce the artist, project, and supplies. We’ll get started on the project while online together, and the following week we’ll share our finished work and kick off the next project. Click here to register. (Online registration opens August 14)
