K Art and Design was honored by the Catholic Business Network of Northern VA with a Business Partnership Award at their April banquet. We recently redesigned Epiphany Catholic School's logo and supported their major fundraising effort, the annual silent auction and gala. This year's theme was "Hidden Treasures", and we created the event's logo, poster, invitations, and program covers.
The Windmore Foundation for the Arts recognized Tony & Kelly individually with their Hats Off Award in recognition of dedicated service. Furthermore, K Art and Design was honored with the Top Hat Award for our continued support of the foundation. While we we appreciated the recognition, Cole and Joy appreciated the cookies and creme puffs even more.

We are proud to announce (however belatedly) that Let's Re-Arrange It! of Warrenton, VA has been given K Art and Design's Good Egg Award for 2008. The Good Egg is our business incubator program created to help new small businesses crack into their field with professional-quality marketing materials. Let's Re-Arrange It! will receive free graphic design services and wholesale printing for one year.
Let's Re-Arrange It! offers practical, affordable organizing and interior redesign solutions. Their mission is to create spaces that are functional, comfortable, and reflective of your lifestyle-in other words functional spaces for everyday life!
Last year's recipient, Taster's Delight, used the award to develop a series of brochures to promote the bakery, wedding cakes and later catering, as their business expanded. We also created and maintain their website. Taster's Delight recently moved into their first commercial space and now operate a cafe offering lunch specials 5 days a week.

After a year of design and development, K Art and Design has launched the redesigned Culpeper County Chamber of Commerce website. The new site is completely reorganized, and it incorporates a membership database, community calendar, and online application. The process has truly been a collaborative effort between us and the Chamber staff, and we are very excited to see the new site up and running!

Culpeper County High School has been using a blue version of "Sparky"- Arizona State University's Sun Devil mascot for the last 10 years. ASU spotted the infringement last summer and notified the school that they need to stop using it.
The Star Exponent newspaper is running a contest for readers to create a new, original Blue Devil and Tony's entry (above) has made it to the top 5. Online voting closes soon, so please vote now and often!
UPDATE: Tony won the newspaper's contest by an impressive margin. However, Tony's logo will not be used by the school because they have decided to go with student generated artwork. Thanks to everyone who voted!
